A Global Mindbody Community:
United by neuroscience and new perspectives on healing
The journey from chronic pain and medically unexplained symptoms to recovery and well-being is undergoing a profound transformation worldwide. Today, a growing international community of organisations is coming together around the science of neuroplasticity, which opens up new pathways to understanding and healing chronic symptoms.

Living Proof is proud to be part of this global community, alongside other not-for-proft organisations whose work is grounded in modern neuroscience, which shifts the focus from the chronic symptoms themselves to the stress, unprocessed emotions, trauma, behavioural patterns and inner beliefs that underly them. Our organisations are focused on sharing knowledge and lived experiences of recovery, inspiring and empowering individuals on healing journeys, and transforming how we understand and treat persistent physical symptoms.
What we
stand for
Across continents, cultures and languages, our community champions:

-
A shared scientific foundation — We are aligned in our understanding of the science of neuroplasticity: the brain’s ability to rewire itself and create new neural pathways, and the implications this holds for recovery from chronic symptoms when structural and organic causes have been ruled out.

-
Education that empowers — Through accessible, evidence-informed resources and organising events (on and off-line), we help individuals, practitioners and communities understand persistent symptoms through a nervous-system lens and learn tools that support recovery.

-
Restoring hope — Chronic pain and other persistent physical symptoms can have a devastating impact on lives, particularly when approaches focused on organs and structures fail to provide lasting relief. Our organisations offer neuroscience insights, real-life experiences of recovery and evidence-based tools that offer genuine pathways to healing.

-
Global collaboration — By working in concert across the world, we support individuals, practitioners, and healthcare systems to shift how chronic symptoms are understood and treated. We celebrate and support partnerships that amplify impact; build bridges between research, clinical practice, and lived experience; and strengthen global progress toward awareness, recovery, and ultimately prevention – including recognising and addressing symptoms at an earlier stage before they become chronic.

Our Partners
The ATNS is a non-profit organisation based in the United States that focuses on educating the public, clinicians, and healthcare systems about neuroplastic causes of chronic pain and illness and promotes evidence-based care that reflects the latest scientific understanding. Its platform provides tools, events, and community support designed to shift practice and empower self-directed healing.

The non-profit foundation, Emovere, based in the Netherlands, fosters understanding of how the mind–body connection and addressing underlying emotional processes can open up possibilities for recovery and prevention of persistent symptoms. Through sharing neuroscientific knowledge and lived experiences of recovery, as well as community activities and educational events, it empowers individuals in regaining ownership of their health and wellbeing and aims to shift the current healthcare paradigm.

Together We Are Stronger
We strongly believe that by supporting and collaborating with partners who share our values and mission, we can raise broader awareness of the neuroscience and new perspectives on recovery and, ultimately, help more people to heal.

Together, we are working toward a world where recovery — and the neuroscience that makes it possible — is accessible to all.

Join us
We welcome contact from other not-for-profit organisations that share our experience that science-based understanding, education, and community support can transform outcomes for people living with medically unexplained chronic symptoms. We invite you to get in touch to explore collaboration.
